Have you ever thought about just leaving society behind and becoming a survivalist?


It seems the more of capitalism and materialism consumerism I see, the more I want to drop out and leave society behind. I would imagine that there are a few folks out there who are sulf sufficient and they could probably pull it off with few problems. I don’t even view it as a bad way of living. There is nothing wrong with getting back to nature. Thoreau would probably approve!

What is the effect of prejudice on society when both positive and negative kinds are considered?


I wish to seperate prejudice as a whole into two distinct types: pointing out negative or undesirable qualities and pointing out positive ones, all based on a stereotype. IF there were EQUAL amounts of both how would it affect society in general? Would it matter if the prejudice is inaccurate?

What’s the biggest misinterpretation about the society you live in?


I say society because not everyone here is from the same place.

I live in the U.S.A and I’d have to say mines would be that everyone here is rich or at least stable which is quiet possibly the biggest lie about American society I’ve ever heard.

What are the negative and positive aspects music has on society?


I’m doing a paper on the whole topic of music and society. So I was wondering what are your opinions. What do u think are some of the negative and positive aspects music has on society? For me, music is a way to express yourself. So what can be so negative about that? Music helps me get through the day. I really don’t see any negatives. Yeah, some lyrics may be ‘ inappropriate ‘ but at least it’s telling the truth and not ‘beating around the bush’ about things society has to face.
