I want to join a society,club in my area what is the best way to do that ?


I’m not in college as of now and am looking for a Society Group To join ( i live my North Carolina ) am 23 female does any1 know where i can look for one ? OH NO Chruch groups PLEASE
i’m looking for something a little classy and i dont mind paying dues – i like the arts and helping other ppl as well > not really in2 outdoor stuff – am welling to help the enviroment but not go camping

How can we curb violence in today’s society?


It’s quite sad to see how the cancer of violence has eaten deep into the fabric of today’s society. You turn on the news, you hear of people being gunned down in schools, shopping malls, on the street etc. Gangsterism is on the rise in many cities, guns are sold like candies in every nook and cranny – this is quite lamentable and absolutely a woeful state of affair. How can we rid today’s society of violence? What is your take.

How much $ does the leukemia&lymphoma society normally make marathon participants raise?


Just wondering if anyone has participated in the leukemia&lymphoma society’s marathons and how much money they needed to raise in order to participate in the event – Did anyone raise more than what they needed!!??!! That’d be exciting!

Questions concerning volunteering at the humane society?


Someday I’d love to volunteer at a humane society when I move into a city.

I am wondering if you can answer my questions:
What is it like working there?
Someone said that since I don’t have a sense of smell, I wouldn’t mind working there. are they correct?
What do the volunteers do?
Do they get to spend one on one with some of the animals?
Do they get to play with and walk the animals?
What else do I need to know?
