Martin Luther King, Jr. Day: January
Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. believed that success is measured "by the quality of our service relationship to humanity." The Corporation for National Service promotes the January King Holiday as a community service initiative to remember, celebrate, and organize to meet the challenge of Dr. King's philosophy on public service.
