  Aberdeen Service-Learning Project
The Aberdeen Service-Learning Project worked to create links between public and private schools -- kindergarten through college -- and local community-based organizations. Check out the site to learn more about service-learning and to view examples of this past project. 		 

Resource Library
Access and check out materials from the Clearinghouse resource library of books, videos and training information on various topics such as: volunteer management, service-learning, community mobilization and fundraising.  Information on local, national and international service organizations is also available.

Awards, Scholarships and More
Congressional Awards
A recognition program for 14-23 year olds in the United States achieving individual goals in voluntary pubic service, personal development, physical fitness and expedition/exploration.
President's Student Service Challenge
Awards are available for students from kindergarten through college that volunteer to improve communities  making America stronger.  Scholarships are available for high school junior and seniors completing 100 hours of service. 
Youth In Action Award
Young people (under 25) who have started a project that has positively impacted their community can apply for $1,000 awards. Only youth-initiated projects that are on-going or completed and have created a measurable and positive result.
