About Habitat for Humanity
Habitat for Humanity International is a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing ministry. HFHI seeks to eliminate poverty housing and homelessness from the world, and to make decent shelter a matter of conscience and action.
Habitat invites people of all backgrounds, races and religions to build houses together in partnership with families in need Habitat has built more than 100,000 homes around the world, providing more than 500,000 people in more than 2,000 communities with safe, decent, affordable shelter..
1. Homeowners and volunteers build the houses under trained supervision.
2. Houses are sold at no profit, with no interest charged on the mortgage.
3. Build houses on select Saturdays with other NSU students.
