Applying to the National Honor Society: What would be a good explanation for tardiness?
The candidacy form for the National Honor Society at my school requires an explanation for “excessive absences or tardiness,” and while I’m rarely absent (once a school year, if that), let’s just say I’m not the most punctual person.
What should I say in my explanation?
Better late than never?
Should I say that I’m working hard to change my ways?
