Where is the proof of society being discriminatory against women?

I’ve seen more than one feminist troll use the argue that women are still not equal in society, thereby “proving” their existance is necessary to free the female from male oppression.

So tell, where is this oppression? Name one instance where women were denied something because they were female, and not because a physical, intellectual or emotional failing associated with said gender.
Soulflower: What proof, did they tell these people face to face that “I gave the position to instead of you because he’s a man, and would be better for the position.” or did they do what they do to everyone and say “sorry, we went in a different direction.”.

If there is no proof that they openly admited that they were denied because they were female, then all you can show me is conjecture. YOU think the motives were sexist, but WERE they sexist?
