Who do you think is favored more in todays society pregnant woman or the elderly?

I was thinking the other day an elderly woman in her I would say 80s rushed to open the door for me. I thought that it should have been the other way around. I sort of felt bad that she did that I felt useless and there were a bunch of people around. Kind of silly but do you think pregnant woman or the elderly are more favored in todays society?
