What are good volunteer jobs at the Humane Society?
I am considering volunteering at the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region. I am thirteen years old, and will be turning fourteen in a few months. What is a good volunteer job to participate in over the summer? Will I have to wait until I am fourteen?

actually you can’t volunteer there until you are 16, or you need to have an adult with you. I wish I could volunteer at the humane society it would be very rewarding , but you are just too young just like me I am 14

I coordinate volunteers at the shelter where I work (also in Colorado!). At our shelter, you have to be 16 to work with the animals, but we have other volunteer opportunities for younger teens who want to help us. You could probably help them out with office work, fundraising, special events, things like that. Call them and see how you can help out. I’m sure they have things you can do.
