How many years will it take to become a paperless society?

Becoming a paperless society is inevitable as pulp and paper mills will slowly reduce production according to government statistics. As production dwindles down, how many years will it take America to become somewhat paperless and what will be the substitute?

Unfortunately, not anytime soon. I think computers will come into place. I hope that it will be in the near future though.

I also hope that many people start switching to false Christmas trees, or learn how to properly recycle their dead ones. (I.E. Mulch, firewood, etc. rather than throwing them into a landfill.)

Hopefully never…paper is one of the little things that keeps usclose to reality…books, newspapers, u name it, I totally agree that we should decrease paper use, but not go paperless…imagine a world without paper where everything comes in a screen, next thing u know u won’t have a mind on ur own….
