How do you volunteer at the humane society?
I really need to get volunteer hours in for NHS but I really dont know how I can get in the postition to volunteer to help the humane society. I really want to be a vet so this the perfect volunteer work. Thanks

just call them…or stop by….they will be as happy as you are …and the pets will love it …good luck ,honey

I volunteered for the Humane Society for NHS at my highschool, too…usually you can talk to your guidance counselor- they have all kinds of volunteer applications. If they don’t have it, just head down to the humane society (that’s what I did) and ask if they’re accepting volunteers. If they are, they’ll give you an application- and good luck!

Goggle it online. I found a society that I volunteer for online. They usually have forms to fill out online and then they will contact you.

Contact your local humane society and ask if you can volunteer, I am sure they will not turn you down. Also check with the vets in your area, they may also be able to use your services. Good luck.
