Why are celebrities more important to society than doctors or soldiers?
They get paid an obscene amount of money to sit around and look pretty whilst real hero’s get squat in return for risking their lives, priority overload? Or is it just that society *****?

Majority of people take easy way to honor, see face on electronic box every day, no think, but come to honor picture. Picture become idol. Hard things that need think, take too much time and sometimes painful, so majority push this to back of mind and forget.
When people with brain think, they see. They see that your statement above not true, problem is, sometimes people no want to think/see.
