Should religion play a larger role in society? What should we prepare for as a society?
I want your thoughts! Should we assume that:
- the world will continue on in it’s normal form and no form of rapture will occur and therefore there is no point in preparing the masses for an armageddon.
- the world will undergo massive changes when the Messiah returns and it is our duty as a society to prepare everyone on the planet for this historical event.

Religion used to play a larger role in society – people were pushed to the edges for stupid reasons like sex/pregnancy outside of marriage and homosexuality.
The world is better with acceptance that religion isn’t the bee all and end all of the world. At least now people get a fair deal, even if it’s not with everyone.

Religion is a lie & has no room in society. Not in American society anyway. We can discuss your second point if or when a “messiah” returns. Other than that keep your crap in your church where it belongs.

How about a first class education that everyone can be proud of and freedom from all of that religio-political stuff ?
Maybe then we can start to advance as a society and get back some of those years we have lost whilst we were being restrained by religious control.

The apocalypse has nothing to do with death/dying. Apocalypse means to lift the veil or reveal. There will come a time when this age will end(Apocalypse) and a new age of enlightenment will dawn. Humans will step out of the darkness and truly realize their true human potential.
There is no room for religion to govern a society. However there is room for spiritual enlightened people to help, love, care for, guide and assist each other. It is our duty to strive to reach our highest human potential and to seek to help our brothers and sisters in their efforts as well.
