How does society influence *** men to act effeminate?

i believe that some how society, pushes *** men to act effeminate. Most of the people think that *** men want to be like girls, and some how that stereotype influence *** men to act like that, because that is what society want us to be.

Perhaps it has more to do with fleeing masculinity and its challenges than wanting to be like the girls. When adult *** men come out, they often publicly renounce any effort to assume masculine challenges and they do this by being effeminate. It’s a big surrender of self.

In young boys, it is because of a lose-lose family situation. The boy is often called upon to be a confidante of his mother and an ally against the father and, by association of that age, all males. There is a general repudiation of being a male.

In very young boys, it usually can be traced to a very unstable relationship with the mother and a distant, detached relationship with dad. GID is an attachment disorder.

Many of the *** men that get much attention in the media are those that act very effeminate. In situations when *** men feel very rejected by their family or community, it is normal for these men to search for people they can identify with. The effeminate *** men that we notice in daily life may often turn out to be those who social role models are the *** men who are easily available given the media — the effeminate ones.

I have to note that there is a lot of variation in how effeminate *** men appear. Some fit this stereotype very well while others slip under the gaydar.

I am a very straight looking *** man.
yes there were images in tv that depicted Those Lite in the Heels as wearing dresses an flipping wrists.
they Scared me to death. I thought if i ever told anybody I was *** they would make me act that way.

So at least for this man, no I was not influence to be effeminate.

Edit:
I also know some straight men that are very effeminate
it is not valid to state a condition with out see if it also effects the heterosexuals. That is how Freud was mis informed he only researched people with problems not people that were well adjusted and **********.

Some guys are just effeminate, regardless of sexuality. *** men don’t want to be girls, you’re thinking of transsexuals.

The ‘flaming’ types are just the loudest, they’re not actually that common among *** men. The majority of *** men are in fact indistinguishable from straight men.

I agree with the person who stated that the societal preference is towards acting masculine. We act effeminate despite overwhelming social prohibitions against it, and frequently we begin acting effeminate long before we self-identify as ***. This suggests that effeminacy is anything but an act of accordance with social norms.

I really don’t think that society has anything to do with a guy acting effeminate. There are a lot of effeminate acting men that are not *** at all. The really Feminine acting ones are very few compared to the amount of *** people in society. I believe that each person chooses how they will behave in public on their own. If anything most *** guys want to behave straight rather than like a sissy. I think by acting straight you would have more opportunities to make out. I’ve been fooled many, many times by guys from Asia,France or even England whom to me seemed effeminate but was blown away when I found out differently. If you have effeminate traits society had nothing to do with it or how you behave. Good question.
